PROGRAMS

Youth Career Incentive Program:
Provides temporary employment opportunities for students ages 14-25. Employment is utilized as an incentive to encourage and motivate youth to stay in school and motivate them to complete High School/College.

Qualified Applicants:
OYD Application
Xerox Copy of Social Security Card
Xerox Copy of Certificate of Indian Blood
Letter of Interest (a must)
Resume (a must)
Navajo Nation CHAPTER Voter Registration Card (If 18 and Over)
Verification of Continuing Education (Letter of Admissions or Recent Transcript)

Recreation Program:
Provides structured socially acceptable leisure time activities to meet the varied needs and interests of youth, to reinforce positive individual growth and development and to promote physical and mental health, enhance self-esteem, create positive social interaction and skill development through constructive use of leisure time.

Youth Counseling Program:
Provides community-based and family oriented alternatives for troubled and/or “high risk” youth through direct services and network systems that fosters health and positive growth. To emphasize and encourage positive family and social interaction.

Youth Opportunity:
Will provide a combination of Academic Enrichment/ Dropout Prevention services to meet various needs of out-of-school and in-school youth ages 14-21.
